Paro - Paro
Tsechu festival |
|
The festival takes place
every year around end of March/beginning of April, and is one of
the most important and well known of all the various festivals
that takes place around Bhutan during a year. We visited the
festival twice, on the 3rd and last day, and it was interesting
to watch what was going on. Impressive were all the people that
were there, even early in the morning on the last day.
in adition to all the
performances that take place on the festival area, the whole town
is influensed, and there are fairs all over the town where you
can try your luck, swing the wheel or get a good bargin. Really
interesting to walk around and look at all the activities.
