La Paz nr 3
Catholic cementaries in
South America are very different compared what we have in the
Nordic countries. We paid a visit to the largest cementary in La
Paz. Here are some items we looked at. No graves in the soil,
only above the soil. There were many 'buildings' for the graves,
and most of them were decorated at the end of the construction.
Looks like Street art, but most had a religious style. It's a
huge area to visit, but wort the time spent there. Next folder
have also more from the cementary.
