A CULTURAL TRAVEL THROUGH IMAGES

BRASIL
Amazon

We continued to the Amazon - the largest jungle (if you could say so) of the world. We stayed close to the Rio Negro (Black River) which joined with the Amazonas River a bit further to the east. We stayed at the Ariaś Jungle Tower Hotel, a very special hotel that have to be experienced. From the top we had a great outlook over the area, and when we were travelling, we used, of course, long boats. Here are some images from the stay.

It was well worth an early rise to catch this

The royal crown prince Frederik of Denmark visited the Jungle Tower at the same time as us, and he wrote in the guestbook:

"I did not know it was that nice to sleep in a tree"
