The Cooper produces a variety of wooden containers such as buckets, casks, firkins and barrels. Many barrels
were needed for the packing and transporting of a wide range of commodities, including fllour, apples,
cider and nails. the Village, especially the Mill, would provide a ready market for the Cooper's wares.
