Edmonton is the capital of Alberta
province with around 1 mill. inhabitants. Today its a modern town
with lots of park, which makes the town very green. It is the
oldest town in the province and was founded as a fort related to
the Hudson Bay company in 1795. Alberta was proclaimed a new
province in 1905 which was celebrated greatly in 2005. If you
have nothing to do one day, just visit the West Edmonton Mall
which still is said to be the biggest in the world, and you will
discover that a day is easily spent there. Click the thumbnails
