Granville Island is a popular place to visit, just across the Burrad st. or Granville st. bridges. Interesting shops and also a posibility to go for a whale safary. We went on such one, and had this loverly weather. Here are some pictures of what we saw while sailing out of the harbour. There are also interesting museums on the island, so a day spent here is not a bad idea.
