Changsha city
Changsha is the province capital and a rather big town. There are not much that would be called verhy interesting to have a look at, and building of new buildings were as big as all over China. We did not spend much time here, but continued out into the mountain area which were the main reason for the trip, and there we were not disapointed. I hope you will enjoy those areas as much as I did.
But it was ok to have a visit in Changsha, specially the museum where they presented findings from a huge old grave, where deep inside there were several coffins, and the last one cointained the conserved body of a rich lady. They presented a lot of interesting findings from the grave. Unfortunately we had to rush around so we would get on the road. A good reason to go back again one day, to study the items better. Most of the items had text in both chinese and english, and that you can find in most chinese museums.
