Tianamen square

For me the picture above represents China and Beijing. It is the one I have seen in schoolbooks and on television from this large town.

You find it at the end of the Tianamen square, and behind it is the enterance to the forbidden city - where the chinese emperor lived isolated from the people they ruled. On the following pages I will present pictures from the various places we visited when we were in Beijing.

In 2004 I was back, and then i visited Tianamen square when the sun had set - and the view was impressive. Here are what I saw, hope you like it too.
