The name of the town is written both
Paphos and Pafos, the last one mostly used by the cypriots. Its
an old town and you will find a lot of living memories of the
history. Luckily the distances are not to huge, so it's possible
to manage most of the interesting areas within a day. The visit
from the romans are very clear. I was a bit surprised when I
found memories of the danish king Eirik Ejegod (Eirik the good)
who died here on a trip to Jerusalem in the year 1103.
