Tabor i situated high up on a hill, and
its history is closely related to the religious reformator Jan
Hus. On the towns square Zizkovo namesti there is a monument of
Jan Zizka. Her you will also find the former town hall, build
between 1450 and 1521, today a museum. There is also access to
the tumbs from there. In the first half of September the town
turn back in time, and have the town party - Taborska Setkani,
which will include tournaments of horseriding, midage markets and
lots of other fun. When we visited there were music from the same
time, performed by artists dressed in acurate clothings from the
time.
