The Narodni Hrebcin studfarm is one of the oldest in the Czech republic. It was founded by the royal family in 1579. Since the revolution it's been owned by the goverment. Today they breed two speciallities: white horses (75%) and black horses (25%) and they are used within all types of horseriding. They also have a speciality, riding carriages with many horses, up to 12 horses draging a carriage, a splendid sight. All foles are born black, but very soon the white ones start changing into white. It was very interesting to go through the various well kept stables and see all the beautiful horses, and listen to all what our guide Mr. Regner could tell about history and what goes on today.
