Event two - Cross
country
This is the toughest event. The riders
had 8 minutes to complete the 4320m long racetrack, if not they
got penelties according how much they used more. On the track
there were 21 jumps, but some had more than one to complete, so
totaly there were 33 jumps to complete, and some were quite
tricky. We could walk around the racecourse to have a close look
at how the competiors made it, and get to know the jumps better -
that was very interesting. Rain during the night and while the
competition took place made the condidions even more hard. The
results show that 5 riders made it through the track within 8
minutes, and 9 riders had to give up of the 62 starters.
