Khan al-Khalili has
been a shoppingarea since it was founded in the 14th century, and
today the people of Cairo go there to find their nessesary
product. Its interesting to walk through the small narrow streets
to see what are offered in the various shops. Sit down at a
coffeeshop and relax or visit some of the many mosques in the
area. Here you will find one of the oldest one - Al-Azhar mosque,
founded in 970AD. And if you like shopping, here is the place for
you.
