When I arrived in Finland in 1968 it was my 4th visit outside Norway. I was visiting my finish pen-firend Meri, and stayed with her family for 10 very interesting days. They lived in Askola, north of the town Porvoo (Borgå) We did also visit Helsinki. In 2014 I was able to take more pictures from the central part of Helsinki and also on the visitto Soumenlinna Sea Fortress, well worth a visit actually.
Later I have visited the country in 1979, 1985, 1989 and 2014
