A CULTURAL TRAVEL THROUGH IMAGES

Beamish open air museum

I had the pleasure of visiting Beamish museum on my visit to Newcastle in May 2000. It was a very interesting experience, and the area they have created here really gives the impression of how life was in a mining town around the turn of the last century. This museum is really worth a visit.
