It's a large city
with a lot of people living there and quite heavy traffic. It was
a bit "worn down" and I did not find the most
impressive collections of interesting buildings there. But a
visit to the national museum was well worth the time spent there,
and I will also recomend that you take those about 15 km out of
from the central Jakarta, and visit the regional museum and park.
Here you will find examples of various types of houses that are
typical in thes huge and variable country.
