This little town is
situated at the south coast of Java, not far away from Yogya. You
will find a lovely and very long sandy beach there, but
unfortunately the current in the water is very strong, and that
make bathing almost impossible. You are met by a warning sign
telling how many people have lost their lives - so you better
just take small steps along the beach. But it was lovely to get
out there and spend some hours. And you can also do as I did -
walk up the hill to the hotel that is situated at the edge with a
most lovely view over the beach. Have something to drink or eat
and you will certainly feel like at home - just look at the bill,
but it was worth the price, really !
