A CULTURAL TRAVEL THROUGH IMAGES

ITALY
Pompeii - The town

In year 79 the vulcano Vesu erupted and left the town of Pompeii buried under a thick layer of dust and lava. When they started to recover the town, they found it to be well preserved, and today we really can have a good idea about how the town must have been. It was a rather large and wealthy town.

Here I present you for the buildings you can find, and on the next page some of the art that has been recovered.
