Pompeii - The art

In year 79 the vulcano Vesu erupted and left the town of Pompeii buried under a thick layer of dust and lava. When they started to recover the town, they found it to be well preserved, and today we really can have a good idea about how the town must have been. It was a rather large and wealthy town.

Hope you will enjoy these very fine examples of art that still are visable in the town of Pompeii, so many years after its disaster.
