Bicykle ride in Kyoto

We started off by the metro, and when we arrived at the destionation we got to pick a bike for the ride. Luckily for us, that only rarely use this two-wheeled mean of transport, the roads we used were either without any traffic or just a very few ones. The tour went throught a huge bamboo 'forest', passed small temples and privat homes and areas that were prepared for the time for planting rice and other things they were growing. Weather was just great, and not too hot - perfect for a day on two wheels. In the news at home they told us that the blooming of the cherry trees were 2 weeks ahead of normal, but luckily we got to see some still, and they are just great looking.Nobody were hurt, so we could continue to our next goal when the trip was over.
