Gyeogbokgung Palace

The original palace was built in 1392 in the 3rd year of the Joseon Dynasty. The Gunjeongjeon building is the largest and most impressive building and have both the throne room and the audience room Gyeohoeru is a two story pavilion overlooking a man-made pond close to the throne room. Hyangwonjeong is a secluded pavilion in the middle of a lotus pond at the northern end of the complex where the royal family enjoyed special private occasions.
