Bukhansan national park is situated in the northern part of Seoul. The easiest way to get there is the Metro and from the stop you are almost there. After paying the enteryfee the whole park is available. There are long and shorter routes you can follow. Some of the paths were equiped with support, making it easier to get along. It was rather steep, but the beautiful sceneries was a good excuse for stopping along the way to the top.
From the top we went down on the southern side, and it was quite steep and no support. Luckily a local guide came along and we were allowed to follow him down. I would not recomend going down on you own unless you are used to walk in the mountains - or a mountain goat. But on a sunny day it was a very nice trip, and lunch in the town when we were down tasted even better than normal.
