Gongju - National museum

The city was established in 475 AD as the second capital of the Baekje kingdom. In 1971 the untouched grave of King Muryeong (AD 501 - 23) was discovered, and you can visit the tomb to see how it was at the site, and all the things they found in the tomb are found in the Gongju National Museum. It was impressing what they made so long ago. Unfortunately no photo in the museum

When you have finished the tour you should try the local speciality - it used to walk on four legs and bark.
