South Korea
DMZ

The demilitarised zone seperates north and south Korea. It's 4 km wide and 248 km long. You can easily get there, and the trip around on the South Korean side is smooth and let you have a glimpse of North Korea. You are also invited down to the 3rd invation tunnel which was made by North Korea. Several others have also been discovered. Don't expect to take pictures wherever you would like - the military situation is still a bit too tense. But I think it was interesting to have a look around. Here are something of what I saw.
