This temple is the oldest
cituated in the Jirisan National park. It was founded by the
priest Yongi in 544 AD after his return from China. The temple
suffered five majour devastations, including the japanese
invation in 1592, but not everything was destroyed. The most
presious items from the tempel are today situated in the museum
that is well worth a visit.
