Jeonju

Jeonju is a relative smal town, but have some interesting sites to visit. Its te capital of the region and claim it was the birthplace of the Yi or Joeson dynasty that ruled Korea between 1392 - 1910. One interesting ting to know when you are exploring the sights is that Jeonju is known for its tast cuisine. Why not have a taste.

There is a nice area overlooking the town, and it claim that it was the former residence of king Mokjo. A banquet was also held there in 1380 after the defeat of the japanese.

The cathedral of the town is large and well worth a look. You will here find a combination of western and eastern style.
