LAOS LUANG PRABANG The town and the rivers

Luang Prabang is not a large town, but you will find a lot of lovely tempels. UNESCO is helping out to preserve these. The Mekong river runs along the town and several rivers runs into the Mekong there. Take a trip on the boat upriver and visit the very special cave of Pak Ou, or take a tuk-tuk along the road to the Kuang Si waterfall where you also can take a dip into the chilly clear water.
