Our last visit in Latvia was to the famous old castle of Segulda. It was an impressive area and the buildings were well restored. An interesting museum with items from the older days are also worth a visit. When we visited there was an exhibition of rather huge sculptures made in marble. We continued and had a look at the famous well with all the inscriptions made by visiting people, before we took a ride with the cable car across the valley. The last we managed to visit was an other important castle Turaida. Also another well preserved castle, today used for conserts among other things. When we had finished the visit the sun set and it became dark and the last day of our Latvia visit was over.
