Another small
country of the world. When I visited the country in 1995 it was
the 36th. country I visited. At that time Macau was a Portugese
colony, and joined China in december 1999.From Monte Fortress you
have an overlook over the whole country, facing the Republic of
China just accross the harbour. An important event in Macau, is
gambling. This was not allowed in Hong Kong so people went over
by the speed-boats to have some legal gambling. I did the same,
and came out 98.- HKD richer than when I went into the Casino !!!
