Te Anau - Milford Sounds

Before I went to New Zealand I had heard that the country looked a lot like my own country, and when I arrived in Te Anau/Milford Sounds I did understand why. And with a day of typical weather I am used to - low hanging clouds between the mountains, with rain - then I really felt almost like home.

As the weather was rather dark, and temperature still low, even though it was well into spring in October, the pictures are a bit dim. This is how I experienced this area of the south island
