Oslo
Along the Aker river

Akerselva the famous river running down through Oslo ending into the fjord in the middle of the town. Along the river there is a very nice walking path that take you up (or down) along the river, where you can enjoy Oslo. You walk through old industrial areas where the buildings are well kept, but inside there are other activities than industry. There are nice waterfalls in the river. I have been walking there often and I peresent pictures leading you from the beginning at Nydalen and down until you are in the central parts of Oslo. The pictures are taken during various periodes of the year. Hope you will enjoy the view and maybe take the trip yourself one day.

Starting in Nydalen where remainings from old industy are visable among modern buildings
Continuing down along the river
Reaching an area with strong waterfalls
where it was used for all the various types of industry in the area
even through the winter its is running
Comming into an area where the river runs quietly through the landscape
Before it comes into a new area with reminders of old industy, now turned into modern buildings indside with the old ouside
Before comming into special areas before you are back in downtown Oslo
