Lysefjorden
- Look up at the pulpit |
|
Lysefjorden
is the first of many fjords along the west coast of Norway. It is
40 km long and the trip to Lysebotn at the end of the fjord will
give you a breathtaking view of the Norwegian fjord/mountain
sceneries that is so well know in this part of the country. On
this first page I take you on the boattrip that is operated all
summer from Stavanger, along the many nice islands, under the
impressive Høgsfjord brige and into the Lysefjord. The various
interesting spots along the fjord is pointed out by the captain,
and he also gives interesting historic facts to several stops
along the trip. On the next page we reach the Pulpit, and
continue further into the fjord.
