The Pulpit - Look down at the Lysefjord

We sarted with the modern ferry from Stavanger to Tau and continued to Prekestolshytten. Here we parked the car, and started walking. The path is well preserved, even in the area where there are some heavey rocks. If you have good shoes on your feet the trip is easy accessable. Walking in a normal tempo it will take about 2 hours and the same back, and of course you will like to stay out on the plateau for a while to enjoy the sceneries. When you walk, there is always a good reason to make a little break, to enjoy the nature and take a picture. Along the path there are restingplaces where you can stop and have a break. Enjoy the trip, and hope you will have the same good weather as we were lucky enough to get.

Nice scenery when we have the first glimps of the fjord
The closer we got, the more of the fjord we could see
