The Pulpit - Look down at the Lysefjord

We returned to Stavanger by the ferry between Oanes and Lauvik, but first we crossed the Høgsfjord bridge to have a visit at Forsand. As we just had been on top of the mountains, it was nice to drive along the fjord and have a look at the mountains from the bottom of the fjord too, have a break and test the (cold) water. After that we visited Landa - where they have reconstructed some of the many houses they have found there, dating back from the viking age. Forsand was a very important place at that time. Daytime there are activities going on, to make you have an impression of the life from that time. Well worth to make a visit when you are in the area anyway.
