Lofotr - Vikingmuseum at Borg

This area at Borg on the Vestvåg island is well worth a visit. here they reconsturcted the huge house of the viking king, 83 m long. The vikings lived here from around year 500, but there are findings indicating that people lived here about 2200 bc. The first time a church is mentioned is 1335 and it was placed on the area where todays church is situated. There are a copy of the viking ship there too, and you can even try to row them yourself. In the cafe you can try traditional food, both from the viking age, and from the area. Have a good time there.
