Her kommer text We continued southwards,
and passed Alstadhaug with its old church and here Petter Dass
was priest, author and songwriter. We arrived Brønnøysund,
which actually located in the middle of Norway! The distance
between Lindesnes (most southerly place) and Nordkapp (most
northerly place) is exact the same. 4506 people are living in
Brønnøysund, which was worth a visit. When we sailed out from
the port we passed another of the huge sculpture 'Steinar
Breiflabb', placed around the county, and I have pictures of some
on other pages from Nordland. Torghatten mountain is very famous
for its natural hole, 160m long, 35m tall and 15-20m wide. Nature
is also nice and well worth a visit.
