Here are some pictures from 'around', a walk along the river to have a look at the remaining huge constructions for carrying the coal from the mines to the shipping area. The entrance to the mines are up in the mountain. The first one is mine 2, called the Christmas mine. There is a small churchyard, where 7 miners who died of the Spanish fleu in oct. 1918 are buried. Today its allowed to set down urns, but not many new graves are here. We saw our first artic raindeer, some nice small flowers, remainings at the former museum, nice monument for the miners and others.
