Pachacmac temple

The Pachacamac ruins are situated in the Lurin vally. This is an adobe citadel where in pre-inca tims the oracle of Pachacmac was consultet, and later under the inka conquest the sungod was adored. The ruins consist of adobe buildings and temples which covers about 4 square miles. The Pachacmac god was looked at as the god of earth-quacke, and was looked upon as a 'dangerous' god. The last stop on the visit were at the well renovated Mamacuna monestry which used to be the monestry of women.
