Nazca water tunnels |
|
|
Nazca is situated in a
dry area, and water has always been important. From the old times
there were dug water tunnels from the mountains where there are
more rain and down to Nazca. It's impressive to see how clever
they are designed and built. They are in use even today, and
maintained. It is possible for a person to walk through the
underground water tunnels. The water that run through the tunnels
were very clean too.
