Peru - Cuzco province
Cuzco
Plaza de Armes

We walked to the Plaza de Armas. On the way we passed the longest remaining wall of the inka temple in Cuzco. A visit inside the cathedral is essensial. The rooms are filled with beautiful paintings and carvings. Also the typical style the local used when they copied famous paintings are well represented. The Plaza is a very popular meeting spot, and there are many resturants where you can sit and overlook the activities of the plaza, day and night. In 2013 I was back and have supplied this page with some more pictures from that visit to the Plaza del Armes. The first pictures are from the last visit
