Peru - Cuzco province
Cuzco
Fortress of Sacsahuaman

The fortress is situated on a hilltop overlooking Cuzco. It must have been an impressive building because the stones used to build it can be actually up to 30 tons! When you look at the work they have done to make them fit together, its is almost unbelivable that it is possible. You even get a great overlook over Cuzco from up here.

After the visit we drove to the temple of Qenqo, not far from the fortress and went 'underground'
