Peru - Cuzco province
Raqchiaqchi temple
Andahuaylillas and Gate to Cuzco
Huacarpay lake

Raqchiaqchi. Here is a well renovated temple and are around, where the people were living. In addition to the temple there are several restored storehouses which gives you an impression of the number and size. The little church on the area is also worth a visit.

Andahuaylillas. Another small town with an impressive old church. When you go inside you can hardly belive what you see. Decorations, paintings, carvings are fantastic. Well worth a vist. (keep the camera in your pocket, no photos allowed) Gate to Cuzco. Huge building at the top of a hill. Here persons were allowed into the important city - or not. There are two gates, but we dont know how the systems were - one in and on out, or one for the very important visitors and the other for the rest. Interesting to see the building anyway.

Huacarpay lake. We used the local bus to get out to the lake. Weather cleared up, and became very nice. Very interesting walk around the lake, where you can look at several places with remains from the Inka periode in Peru.
