Piquillacta

Piquillacta was built in the 6th century by the Huari Tiahuanaco empire. It was a large town very organized with straight streets and sorted into various parts. It must have been very hard to fix water as there are no wells found in the town. Many wonder why it disapeared so quickly. Maybe because of draught, illness or maybe the mumies of important people found facing down gives a clue that the priests had lost contact with the gods and the area were no longer blessed by them and that made the people leave. Nice to walk through the well renovated streets is it though.

Another huge town, maby more than 100000 people lived there
Nice streets and living areas
In here they found mummies lying face down
