A CULTURAL TRAVEL THROUGH IMAGES

Puerto Rico
San Juan

Next stop was at the tip of the area where another huge fort were placed, Fuerte San Felipe del Morro. Its an impressive fort, well worth a visit, because of its scale, architecture and dramatic settings on the cliffs of the bold headland overlooking the Atlantic ocean. It have totally six levels with a lighthouse. The walls are up to 43 meters tall and 4.6 m thick. The oldest part is from 1539 and probably the oldest spanish fort in the new world.
