A CULTURAL TRAVEL THROUGH IMAGES

SPAIN
Barcelona

And here I'm sure is pictures from the most famous building/construction in Barcelona. The work on the Sagrada Familia started as far as back in 1883 and by now it's still not finished. According to the brochure we found, it is the intention to finish the interior of the church this year, 2010 so they can start with services, and from the look of the visit, they may probably make it too. The exterior is now expected to be finished in 2030, so there will still be a lot of construction work going on. But it was worth waiting nearly an hour to get inside, and I was glad we had not bought tickets to the lifts to get further up, because there were still 90 min waiting time for those. So welcome to a constructionarea where work are going on - every day to finish the work in time. Im sure it will be great when its finished, both inside and outside.
