Wat Doi Suthep
Chiang Mai is
situated about 300 meters above sealevel, surrounded by
mountains. 700 meters higher, on the top of one of those you will
find Wat Doi Suthep. The road up to the temple is filled with
bends, but good quality. When you get to the top, there are still
306 steps to climb before you are on the top.
But it is well
worth the sweating, because the templearea is breathtaking, and
from the top you have a beautiful view over Chiang Mai too.
