Bangkok district
As the capital of Thailand with a long history there are a lot of things to do and have a look at. Even if you just stay in the central part, you will find there are a lot to look at, and that things takes its time. I think you should at least spend 3 days to cover the most important part. It can be a noicy place, but you can also find relaxing areas. Transport have improved, you don't have to spend most of the time in a line of cars not moving anywhere.
