Tat Ton Nationalpark
Tat Ton national park covering 217 square kilometers lies on Phu Lan Ka mountain range in Phu Lan Ka conservation forests of Chaiyaphum province. It was designated as 23rd national park of Thailand on 31 December 1980. It is a part of water source for the Lum Pa Tao river that flows into the Shee, an important river in the north-east. The park consists of dipterocarp forest and dry evergreen forest, important flora are Shorea Obtusa, Shorea Siamensis, Dipterocarpus Tuberculatus, Dipterocarpus Obtusifollus, Semecarpus and Pterocarpus Macrocarpus. Wildlife found here includes barking deer, wild pig, mangoose, siamese hare, squirrel, treeshrew, red junglefowl and birds.
There are several waterfalls in the park of which Tat Ton is probably the most famous one. The others are Pha Eang, Pha Song, Phanit and Tat Fah falls.
