Lan Hin Ngam National Park

The 112 square kilometers are of forest in Chaiyaphum province became a national park on 19 September 1994. The Hin Ngam area is a strange looking rock formation. The facinating rock garden is located in the west of headquarters, and can be reached by car. Sud Paen Din viewpoint is a steep cliff at the peak of Pung Hoei mountain, located about 2 km from headquarters. Lan Hin Ngam was formed through the gradual yet prolonged erosion of sandstone by wind and water over a period of millions of years, resulting in the spectacular formations you see today. On th eground there are beautiful bushes and rare plants, such as moss, lichen, 'Khao-tok-ruesi' (Sphagnum) and many kinds of ferns. In the early rainy season there will be abundant of Kra-jiao among the field of the stone forest. I will leave it up to you what you see in all the different stones, but at least I found many interesting 'sights'
