A CULTURAL TRAVEL THROUGH IMAGES

USA
Alaska
Seward

We reached Seward around noon, and got to our place to stay one night. It turned up to be a very nice apartment in the basement of a new house. Just outside the door we got a great view of the mountainrange across the very busy fjord. Its a very small town so impossible to be lost, but a lot of tourists are visiting the town every year, either to leave or catch a cruiseliner, og with a mobile home, to explore the beautiful areas around Seward. We had a good time there, and you can see what we experienced the two days we spent there.

The town is named after William H. Seward who orchestrated the purchase of Alaska from the Russians in 1867.
